Kegging Lager

Post by scott6 » Sun May 25, 2008 6:20 pm

I tend to brew ales and always use King Keg. Normally make up a lager for the summer but use the 1 litre plastic pet bottles. Trouble is they can be quite time consuming to clean and rinse. I was considering kegging to save a bit of time. Any tips or advise? Or should I just continue as normal? Planning to make a Coopers and use 1KG light spraymalt.

Scott, you might want to do it with 700g spay malt and 300g sugar. Gives a great result!

How much pressure would you need to get a decent carbonation in a KK for lager.

Im thinking of lager in a KK pushed thru a jockey box.
