Can anybody help?
I set a Fixby away nine days ago and on Daab's advice left it for a straight 10 days in the primary bin. This has bore fruit as it has fermented right out and has dropped to 1.010 which is the lowest I have ever been able to get an all malter down to especially Brupaks. (and give a nice respectable 5.3% ish) ...great. I used to drop it after a couple of days but this was obviously stalling the brew, so progress made there.
So I'm away for two weeks soon and wondering, should I transfer the brew to my sealed airlocked fermenter and bottle immediatley on my return, or put it in the airlocked bin and then bottle in a few days time before I go. There are people here but not ones who I would want to hassle with asking them to bottle 35+ bottles of grog, or that they would even agree to do it., or they would even have a clue what to do, etc, etc, etc.
What should I do?
How long can I leave a kit
