Untrue, I really am called Jim.umpa wrote:Popped in to my Local HBS and its a propper job that just does Homebrew. I stuck my chest out and said 'I post on Jims Beer Kit' - he replied I have met him in person and his names not Jim !!

Ump..

And the only HB shop who's proprietor I've met in person is John at Hop and Grape.
So which HB shop was that, then?
hey ump, where abouts is that one? I've been using one in Notts on and off for nearly 20 years and although its the same people still running it, whenever I've asked a brewing related question all I get is blank expressions. even if you weren't into home brew you'd surely pick a few things up after all those years....umpa wrote:Hi,
The HomeBrew Centre in Mansfield not a local centre - but its the only one I go to.
Well those Europeans seem rather fond of adding all sorts of stuff, Cherry, raspberry etc. Even us brits are getting in on the act with at least Badger now doing Golden Champion (elderflower), Golden GLory (peach). Bellhaven also.
To be honest I dont care for it much (any fruit beer) (Well I find myself stangely liking Golden Champion once my peach receptors have burnt out from the first few mouthfuls)
