very dark ipa

hello
i am currently brewing a coopers masterclass ipa. i have noticed in the fv the wort is very dark, darker than a wherry.
do you think they have given me the wrong malt in the wrong packaging, if so, any ideas of what i am actually brewing.

From what ive seen, its hard to judge a colour of a beer from looking at it in the FV, best to see when you got the pint in your hand!

My current brew looks very dark - i just pulled a bit out and its a very light golden beer :)

Sugars have wierd polarisation thats why refractometers work wait till they are all gone and draw a pint
