Now I couldnt help myself as you all know patience is needed with this game but yesterday (after running out of bought beer) I cracked open one of my bottles. Im a little disapointed in the taste its still quite sweet and at the moment doesnt taste much like lager and lacks the bitter taste of lager. It was starting to get some fizz tho so that was good. However Im not detered, Im hoping a bit of maturity improves the taste. Im going to have another go at coopers aussie lager again when i get payed, but this time im going to invest in some spraymalt as i used plain sugar. And i think i will try some dry hopping and see how that alters the taste.
Still it was the first kit and it went without a hitch so for that im greatfull and it was an experience i can learn from
