Cooper's IPA

Just putting a kit together. My first brew in an absolute age. Cooper's IPA kit plus 250g steeped crystal malt, 1kg spray malt and dry hopped with 74g of fuggles.

Fingers crossed. [-o<

How much water did you steep the crystal malt in? Also when you say dry hopping - is that in the FV or will that be in the keg?

About 2 litres of water, I wasn't that exact.

The hops went in the FV.

Are you just dry hopping in the primary fermenter or in the keg?

Finally got round to bottling just now, what a pain! Had a sneaky slurp and it tastes pretty good. Wife shouted at me so I had to bottle outside, got wet through and lost quite a bit due to hops in the fv, they can soak up some beer.

As two of the kids *helped* me bottle, I will name this brew: Immywoo Pale Ale. =D>

I am under orders to brew some lager and more beer ready for baby Jesus' Birthday. Will keep you posted.

He'll be making the wine, and leaving the beer up to you, eh?
