Replacement Tap for King Keg Top Tap

Post by arturobandini » Fri Nov 28, 2008 4:13 pm

Hi,

Anyone know where I can get a replacement tap for a KKTT? It's not actually the entire tap that needs replacing though. My brother brewed a Porter last Christmas and had it in the King Keg. One of his English Bull Terriers (this breed loves a pint) grabbed the tap and chewed it open to release some delicious beverage. Fortunately they mauled it just enough to get a steady trickle and no real damage done except to the screw.

Anyone who has a King Keg Top Tap will know that it's just a screw which goes up and down to open the air hole and this can be fully removed. Was wondering if anyone knew if they did replacements of these and not the entire tap itself.

Thanks

The complete tap is only £3.75 from these people.

They charge £4.70 postage per order so if you can't get one from a local HBS I would suggest you buy a few other things to make it worthwhile.
