This is my 1st go at a Porter, it is based on Mark Ollosson's market porter. I have upped the og from 1036 to 1044, ditched the small amount of sugar & swapped the hops from Northdown to Progress, just to use up some of my hop mountain in the fridge!

Pale Malt 3972g.
Crystal Malt 370g.
Chocolate Malt 140g.
Roast Barley 140g.
Progress hops start of boil 25 ebu.
Progress hops last 15 mins 16g.
Safale S-04 yeast.
I will mash this at around the 67c mark as I want the malt character to dominate this brew.
