...fly in my soup
or rather my wort. I brewed a Pendle Witches brew before Christmas. All went well, into the fermenter, then a week later into the secondary. lid was placed on the top but not sealed. When I came to drain the beer into the keg, there they were - 2 fruit flies stuck to the inside of the FV :( well they may have died happy but Im buggered if I was going to empty it down the sink so I've kegged it. a couple of weeks later I've tasted it to see if I've got 10 years supply of sarsons best. It seems to taste ok... do you think I've got away with it..?
if nothing else a lesson has been learned here...

same happened to me in the summer, I picked about 12 dead fly's out of the FV. Its all long gone now with no illness. Don't worry about it.
