TC question for beginner

TC question for beginner

What would be the typical strength of a TC (using cheap Tescos apple juice) without adding any other fermentables? I popped my hydrometer in some apple juice and it came out at 1050. I'm assuming it ferments down to the low 1000s meaning a 5% ABV?

dont know about that juice but all the tc's ive done with apple juice have been around that mark and all droped to 1.000.but 1.050 on my hydrometer is 6.4 % according to my hydrometer chart.
