Morrisons do raw cane sugar at about a quid or so for 1 kilo

Blimey, John, that sounds good! However, we don't have Morrisons over here, mate. Biggest place in my local town is the Euro Spar ~ and they tend to sell what ever they can get, it seems to me; Not a lot!

Never mind. I was in town today and remembered to pick up a kilo of raw from the whole food shop. Didn't really think about the price. But, I think it was around the three euro mark? " Organic ", of course. So hell of a mark up, 'naturally'

John; I don't count too well, mate. But it seems to me like there's not a great deal in it right now. £100 won't get ye a lot more than 100 Euro's.

By the way, it struck me that I'm misleading ye. I bought 2 Kilo's of that sugar. So it's probably just as expensive as anything " Organic " is. Plus the fact that this is notoriously the most expensive country in Europe anyway.

But, never mind all that. I just have to show ye these! Just for the craic!

We don't see that many of these in circulation. It was a great laugh, ordering a pint and handing the Landlady the 500!

You can get an excellent pint under 45p as long as you brew your own, I don't go to the pub cos it costs a fortune and the beer is crap compared to HB

Just so I don't leave the wrong impression, lads. What it is; I've bought a bit more property and my money's in my Natwest account. Now, they're pulling every stunt imaginable, in their abject desperation to keep it there. Thus I'm now reduced to the tooth pulling antics of going into town, virtually daily, just to pull my limit of £250 out the wall. And it Always comes in 50's. I have to rack up several Thousands, obviously. And counting a stack of fifty Euro notes soon loses its novelty, believe me  So, I've taken to exchanging my wads of fifty's for the higher denominations. Just easier to manage.

But, here's the best craic! If ye could see me? No Way on gods little green earth would ye think I had a pot to piss in! And there's been a rash of dodgy 50's going around lately ..... Ye getting the picture?

So then this virtual 'Tramp' comes strolling into the bank, f*ck off great wad of fifty notes, and asks if they've got any 500's! Ye should've seen the way she looked at me! Then the gentle grilling started, about how come I had so many fifties! It was all I could do not to crack up and just start laughing!

Anyway, enough of that. Back to the beer!
