Have done a couple of KIT’s since I started in November, have been storing bottles in the garage for secondary fermentation this has been ideal through the winter.
But it gets very warm in there in the summer, so I think it will be too hot in there to store bottles. How does everyone else keep theirs cold in the summer? Is the temperature critical?
Any advice appreciated

Re: Garage too warm?
In summer mine are kept in the cupboard under the stairs where the temp is reasonably constant and cool.

an old fridge with a timer on would probably do to keep your brews cool enough.

Stone outbuildings, keep a nice constant temperature all year round.
Taken a week or two ago, the wine racks at the bottom are now full and 38 pints of Summer Ale have joined the rest of the ales
