coopers yeast
im due to start a coopers lager in the next few days but after reading some messages about the yeast foaming out of the top of the fv im a bit worried (and the missus will kill me) any advice would be most welcome. also i was thinking about using saflager yeast in place of the coopers

Re: coopers yeast
I used Saflager S-23 on my lager and fermented at about 15 degrees. I had no mad foaming, only had that with Coopers Stout so far
So you should be fine.
Nice name btw.

Hi Brewers Droop
If you reduce the lenth to about 21 litre's there will be enough room in the FV and it'll be fine. you can then top it up after day 2-3 when it slows down a bit. The coopers yeast is very good, but it is an ale yeast.
