Hi guys.
I wondered where all the UK AG brewers were hiding. Frothy just dragged me over from homebrewtalk.com.
Any way I'm on my 5th batch so still learning and collecting/building/ upgrading kit.
Here's what I use at present.
I have a few glass carboys and corny kegs.
Get ready for the questions.

Welcome Orfy! If you're on your fifth AG batch you'll be able to answer some questions as well as ask them

Some of us still haven't made the transition to all grain yet.

Cheers,
Any thing I can do to help.
I'm glad I've found a brewing community in the UK.
I learnt most of my stuff from the yanks and they are spoilt on availability of cheep AG gear.
The only stuff I've seen here is expensive. So I made my own.

Welcome Orfy, thats a great setup - how many gallons can you get out of a mash tun like that? I've only done 2 AG brews myself.

I do 6us gallon batches.
So I mash with 1.3qt/lb
Hey what am I doing this is the UK I can forget that crap.
2.6l/kg so around 14-16l for mashing then 20+ litres for sparging.
Gives me around 30l for the kettle.
ending up with 23l in Primary.

Try part No 6912, this is only a threaded flange, but could probably be used.

No spanner flats on that flange though unfortunately.
The lock nut from part 12267 on the same BES page would do the job though! Shame it would cost £30 to get it!
