A brew for me old dad.

My dad complained that i never shared my beer with him so i agreed to make him 40 bottles of whatever he wanted, which was.......
"a decent bitter".
Does anyone have a tried and tested middle of the road recipe that they would like to share with me and my dad?
Cheers.
:D

ps If nobody helps us out he'll get one of MY brews and we dont want that now do we?
