did you do the recipe you first posted?
I fancy a bit of that Munich malt I reckon! Bet it would work well in a OSH recipe.

Re: Willamette recipe
Not Quite, I made an alteration to the hops to use up the Willamette, cutting the Chinook as more bittering comes from the 15 and 5 min Willamette
Chinook 21g 90mins
Willamette 20g 15mins
Willamette 30g 5mins
Willamette 30g 1min
Cascade 30g Steeped @ 80c
1.047 og 1.011 fg 34 IBU 10EBC 4.8% ABV
I still had a few grams of Willamette at the end so added them with the cascade
I have used small quantities of the Munich malt in couple of brews and it gives a nice malty/grainy flavour, together with light crystal it's good in pale beers.

Re: Willamette recipe
So is Munich somewhat like Belgian Aromatic?
I noticed viewtopic.php?f=5&t=25812#p283434 says Admiral uses 100% Munich, which would help explain where the distinct flavour in it comes from. Thats one for the to-do list I think

I've not used that but I don't think it's similar. Vienna may have similar characteristics.
