I am half way through a bottle of Meantime IPA and not only does it look like pond water, the taste isn't that far off either. If I had brewed it, I would be very disappointed. There was enough C02 in the bottle to carbonate 2 corny kegs! Perhaps i got a duff one? Shan't be buying it again although I would probably try a 1/2 pint if I saw it on draught.

EDIT: Couldn't finish it, poured it down the sink where it belongs :(

I had a crack at brewing something similar... it's not a million miles off either :-).

Big fan of the Meantime IPA, but can totally understand people not liking it. It's very intense!

A guy I know loves this beer and reckons his attempt with the following, no recipe, just grains and hops used, is pretty close.
I believe he quizzed the brewery...

MO, Munich & Carahell. Hops, heaps of Fuggles & EKG.
