I just brewed a version of this as my first ever extract brew on Thursday. I think it went well, and it's fermenting okay at the moment. Read about it here.

I have the third addition of BYOBRA, and this is whhat made me decide to brew the extract version of this despite my limited boil pot size...
hence the questions about partial boil and reduced boil time in the OP :)

Its a great recipe and several of my smaller batch size ME brews from this book have turned out great!
Sarah Hughes Ruby mild is a particular fav :)

I've also just made this extract recipe. All went well, apart from when the wort starting boiling I was temporarily out of the room and it boiled over, onto the kitchen floor. :(

I hope this won't screw it up ...

Should be fine unless you put it back into the brew pan again :D
