Yesterdays brewday is fully documented here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xauynjvoDI
Pretty simple recipe, 80% 2-row pale and 20% Rye. First Wort Hopped with Nelson Sauvin, then Riwaka at 15, Citra at 10.

Good stuff, it sounds a very tasty hop combo, what do you think the yeast is going to bring to it?

You may have been asked this prerviously, but what's the purpose of the rye?

Nothing. I've used WLP-029 quite a bit lately. It's just a very clean ale yeast along the lines of California Ale Yeast. Hops should be explosive.

http://www.whitelabs.com/beer/strains_wlp029.html Sounds like a nice yeast for a hoppy pale, I might have to give that a go.

It adds malt complexity. Crisp, slightly spicy. I enjoy the flavor it produces if used sparingly.
