Help
I pre boiled my water tonight ready to make my first AG tomorrow. Clean water went into my boiler which looked clean, I washed it out last time I used it 2 weeks ago. I added half a campden tablet and boiled the water for 30 mins. It is now yellow and cloudy. What could it be.
Is it colour from the last beer teaching out of the boiler, even though I thought it was clean.
Should I worry about it, I don't really want to be starting again tomorrow.
Thanks
water has gone yellow

Chuck it - no point taking chances. It's probably some wort left over and not cleaned, what did you brew last time?
Why are you pre-boiling water anyway? Boiling will get rid of chlorine (as will allowing your water to stand overnight), but it doesn't get rid of chloramine - the campden tab will do that. Other than that, there's nothing in tap water to harm your brew

Dump the water and boil up some new stuff. If that goes yellow and cloudy there is something wrong and I'm not sure I'd brew with it...

Water down sink, new lot boiled up and clear. I assume the boiler must have still been a bit dirty.
Oh well on with the brew now.

An inaugural brewday wouldn't be the same without some teething problems Steve!
Good luck with the rest of the brew. Don't forget, there's usually someone around on here to help with any emergencies which may crop up
