A cascade tweaked Coopers IPA

Well here's today's little experiment a lightly tweaked Coopers IPA.

Ingredients...

1 tin Thomas Coopers selection IPA.
500 grammes Muntons Light Spray Malt
500 grammes brewers sugar
40 grammes cascade hops
Safale us05 yeast

In goes the yeast and for once I never hydrated it...:-( looking for a nice dry finish.

I'm in the process of doing just that as we speak, but lack of funds have stopped this project for a little while.

Good stuff mate. I think if you built the stuff yourself you could do BIAB for under 50 quid, ;).

If you start out small you can do stove top BIAB for about £30 with a 20 litre stockpot and a bit of voile. I can get a 20+ litre brew with an OG of 1.040 or higher using this method with a sparge and a post-boil dilution. It's a very cheap intro to AG if it's the expense of all the kit that's putting you off.

Thanks Lugsy and 196osh. I've made a start (please see below), I just need to get the pots drilled and some good hop filters / strainers fitted, last job is to buy the gas bottles, then I'm rocking. I've got a Bathams and A Sierra Nevada clone already bought for the first brews....:-)

I can't flipping wait ....:-)
