Recipe is

OG 1046
IBU 36
70% efficiency
60 min Boil
wlp023 burton ale yeast
Mash at 67c

90% 4.29kg pale malt
7.5% 360g crystal 75l
2% 100g choc malt
.5% 20g cane sugar (personally i would'nt bother)

14g EK goldings @ 60min
14g Fuggles @ 60min
16g Cascade @ 15min
64g Styrian Goldings @ 15min

Ferment from 16c to 20c over 3 days

I've probably missed stuff but there you go :D

I will try this recipe tomorrow. I am not sure I have all the ingredients though.

Thought it was just me.... cans definately better than bottles where hobgob is concerned. :)

In all fairness, cans are actually better packaging.. its sealed from air and light

I've just barrelled/bottled a batch - not AG this time, sort of a half-way house between kit & extract.

thought I'd had a disaster with this but it's mellowing. very sour taste at first, so I thought I'd brewed myself some vinegar, but 2-3 weeks on it is actually improving. not drinkable yet, but watch this space...
