As you know there is a similar thread going on over at THBF, it has already been suggested that the 2 forums join forces but this seems to have been dropped due to the possibilty of cross forum confusion. Might I suggest that the offer is made on THBF that anyone interested join this forum to buy their kegs. Just that it seems to me that it's going to take a fair bit of organising and hence a lot of duplicated effort. It'll also make distribution a fair bit easier (ie there are 2 East Anglians on here and 2 on THBF).

Rob the Malt Miller has some shipping contacts so will help us out there if needed. He also wants 20 kegs for himself.

Next Steps.

1. Find out how well they sort out the lids issue.
2. Agree on how many we are going to bring over.
3. Agree where they are going to be delivered to. polymoog seems quite central and has the space.
4. Decide how we are going to handle the money. Do we need a club account, or do we trust anyone enough to them our money up front so they can put the order in.
5. Find out how much shipping will cost.
6. Agree a final price per keg, and start collecting funds.

i would just like to say apart from the kegs it might be nice to put some faces to some names as and when (or if) this comes off and look forward to meeting some of you lot.
on a seperate note if any one would like to swap some beer at the same time ( bottles not kegs!) i am definitely up for that too!
