Re: Bradford CAMRA Beer Festival
I'll be there

Re: Bradford CAMRA Beer Festival
Is there a phone nu to book tickets or do you have to call at one of the pubs?
Re: Bradford CAMRA Beer Festival
Really want to go on Saturday night, but have no ticket. Does anyone have 2 spares I could purchase, or any idea if i'd have a chance of getting in if I just turn up?
Re: Bradford CAMRA Beer Festival
I think on Saturday they have 300 tickets at the door on a first come first served basis, i would get there early though as it will be busy, it was busy last night and it was a thursday and we left at 8.15pm but the place was getting really busy, hate to think how busy it did get.Chucky77 wrote:Really want to go on Saturday night, but have no ticket. The only weird thing was NONE of the hand pulls had sparklers on them, when i asked the organiser why he replied they ruin the ale ?
even though the beers were good dont expect them to have any head, bloody strange for Northern beer

Re: Bradford CAMRA Beer Festival
The Leeds Beer Festival gets the same and it frustrates me why CAMRA don't change the venues sometimes to accommodate more people and a bit more space. I go to enjoy the beer not have elbow fights all day/ night.haz66 wrote:...but the place was getting really busy, hate to think how busy it did get.

Is it not 300 tickets on the door tonight, but advance tickets only on Saturday? I hope you're right though!haz66 wrote:I think on Saturday they have 300 tickets at the door on a first come first served basis, i would get there early though as it will be busy, it was busy last night and it was a thursday and we left at 8.15pm but the place was getting really busy, hate to think how busy it did get.Chucky77 wrote:Really want to go on Saturday night, but have no ticket. Mark, only for the sakes of hygiene, no sparkler means they don't put put the swan-neck in the glass when pouring (so don't transfer germs and bugs from drinker to drinker).haz66 wrote:The only weird thing was NONE of the hand pulls had sparklers on them, when i asked the organiser why he replied they ruin the ale ?

Your Ghyll Guzzler was on fine form, a good sessionable ale

Thank you it as been well recieved at the Greyhound to, tastes better on draught though than straight from the barrel, pdtnc wrote:Your Ghyll Guzzler was on fine form, a good sessionable ale
The Saltaire Five Rise Pale was also on cracking form, just too many beers and not enough time.
