i got loads of good pics this time, i'll try to post them later. I really enjoyed it this time, even more than last time. I was a lot more confident starting, I seemed to get a better boil this time but in turn i lost a lot of wort. 5 kg or maris otter and i ended up with 23 L at 1045 after topping up about 2.5- 3 L. Can somebody work out how i did please? :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I can't wait to start trying to brew beers like hobgoblin and Chimay bleu my 2 favs although i'm fairly new to a lot of these beers i can't imaging a lot of beer been better than these. There's not a lot of ale in Ireland like these so the only option is to try to make them. I'm not expecting to be as good but a decent ale would be great. So happy about going ag, i didn't know the pleasure i was missing (thanks DaaB) i'm brewing about a year now, 11 months on kits and the only thing that is still as exciting as it was as it was on day one is a bubbling airlock. I've pissed about with a lot of hobbies and pass times in my life but this is the one :D thanks mainly to the information in this forum, thanks guys :D
