Well both from the bottle and the Keg, I am not overly impressed with it! Probably due to temperatures but the keg is still not crystal clear.
I think its one of those that needs a long conditioning time. I do suspect though that the cyanide hop powder may be a culprit!
Cheers

Re: St Peters Golden Ale
I haven't brewed this myself yet, but have recently tried my brother-in-laws and a workmates brew of this (both bottled), and found them both quite boring!Stomach wrote:Well both from the bottle and the Keg, I am not overly impressed with it! Its still not super clear, and still has a harsh taste. I think I would like to do it again and leave out that nasty hop powder!

Re: St Peters Golden Ale
It's a bit of a weird one really, because when it first came out alot of reviewers raved about it, but its certainly not 'all that' from what I have tasted.
You could brew it again and leave out the hop sachet, and maybe add some hops like I have done with the Ruby, but you shouldn't have to do that with a premium 2 can kit!
I got my Ruby kit for a bargain, so didn't mind so much.
Maybe we've just become real ale snobs, and just expect too much from a kit

I don't think so: there are a few 2 can kits that are absolute belters.
This sure aint one of them.
