Just pop the cap and sprinkle some instant coffee and cinnamon in, then recap. Poblem solved!

If anyone has a dark aged Belgian that would be a good entry. I'm drinking my 10 month aged Sedated Monk. It's full on liquorice after a very fruity nose. Better than anything on the shop shelves but clearly a lot more effort

I will be sending something soon. Should I label the bottle to make it distinguishable from other entries whilst keeping it anonymous or should I just send a plain bottle with my details in a sealed envelope?

When and Where do you want these sent to and as above, do you want them labelled?

All entries should be sent unmarked, with proof of ID in an accompanying letter. When they are received they will be marked a number by her indoors and passed to me.

The address is the Ramsbottom Craft Brewery address to be found at www.ramsbottombrewery.com.

Anyone with a dark malty beer they have brewed on a shelf can enter....just send it along.

I will be looking for malty depth, balance, mouthfeel and subtle hopping. If all that can be achieved with some Xmas flavour great. If not, the best dark malty beer will win even if it isn't laden with spices.

Just out of interest, what interest did you get, did many post you a Brew?

There are three more late entries promised. As I was away for Xmas it made it difficult to take entries at the time. So I will extend the period another 10 days.

Overall, a very poor quantity of submissions. Is everyone just talking about brewing?

I looked into sending you a few that'd knock yer socks off, but shipping was gonna be about $50, and I wouldn't be able to redeem the prize if I won. :) Someday I'll get over there for some swaps, though, I swear. I still think you had a great idea and I'm definitely excited to hear about all the submissions!

How much does it cost to post a bottle?

Might send you my xmas effort.

If you post in a PET bottle it will weigh less. You only need to send a sample so 275ml would suffice. Get it off soon though.

2nd class is cheapest I think about £3.65

Beer sent today. Just realised I have not put 'proof of id' in with it.
