Hi RP, PM sent 8)

I don't make them as a business, just to help people out really as I kept getting asked to make some more after I'd made a few a couple of years back. Eventually I found time to get on the machines and make some so I made a few extra in case other people asked.

I'd be interested in one if you have any going! I saw something similar, may of even been the exact same, on a build on a US forum a while ago and thought what a good idea it is. I think it would be perfect for recirculating my herms system after my failed manifold!

Both mine arrived today - very fast service, many thanks. Still warm from the lathe (just joking)

Very pleased indeed - wife thought they were artistic - but they will be put to the services of brewing science on Saturday

Thanks EB

Just a follow up, I haven't had a chance to use mineyet, but planned to use it for sparging, I'm just wondering how far it 'sprays' out as such, I'm worrying that the spray will not sprinkle over the mash but run down the sides of my pot and channel it. Is this adjustable with flow rate at all?

With my MM809 I don't get all that much spread . . . And I recall that when I was sparging I had around 6" diameter spread.

Adjusting the flow rate will give some control over the dispersal. When Vossy uses his in his HERMS system, he has the grain bed covered with water and the sparger sat just in the water so that it effectively spreads into the water - think there is a pic of it in action here somewhere.
