Now i'm really, really jealous.

Just emptied the cornie that had a woodfordes norfolk nog in, very nice.

The main kit is still under construction but hoping to get an extract brew done next weekend as the HLT and mash tun are not yet ready to be plumbed into the main system.

1st mash of the day started at 06:40 67 degrees C adjusted to 5.2(ish) with 1 tsp CRS as per DaaB

Brew #1 (Grumpy Bum) is in the fermenter 25L @ 1040

Heating the water for the second mash now.

Both batches done and dusted both 25L.

Grumpy Bum was 1040 and Styrian Stunner 1045 very pleased with both. Didn't seem to transfer as much of the break material into the fermenter this time. Adjusted the PH to 5.2(ish) on both batches.

It's taken 12 hours to do but worth it. Think the next brewday will be a single batch!

Next project - get a separate HLT and you can do those brews in tandem

12 hours for 50L = 4.16L per hour converted to pints thats 7.3 pints per hour, thats just above drinking rate
