Youngs homebrew offer

Post by Andy » Wed Mar 08, 2006 9:54 am

Drove past my local homebrew shop last night and noticed a http://www.youngshomebrew.co.uk/ poster in the window stating something along the lines of "£50 of free equipment when you buy a kit". Anyone know anymore details ? Don't know if it was beer kits the offer applies to or what....

I'll pop in this lunchtime and get further details. A mate of mine has asked about starting homebrewing so this might be of interest to him.

I think that may relate to a wine kit - although I could be wrong... the fella in the HB shop I frequent said something about an amazing offer whereby you buy a wine kit and get loads of free stuff. Also recall it mentioned on another forum - but I couldn't swear it was youngs, so may poss be beer.

Making wine doesn't really appeal to me as I'm a bit traumatised by drinking incredibly sweet wine made by my dad on a number of occaisions. :stun

Might be worth buying the wine kit, getting the 'free' equipment and then ebaying the wine kit :P

i am assuming it would be a similar offer to this but with 5 gal equipment https://www.easybrew.co.uk/sess/utn;jse ... shopscript (first offer) last month this site was doing the £50 of equipment free when you buy a premeium 5gal wine kit (~£50)

Looks like it only apples to wine kits and it's "free equipment up to £50..." so I guess it depends on the cost of the wine kit you buy.
