Epic! Thanks. I've ordered myself a Wherry, a Mexican Cerveza, some caps and a second FV.

The wife is delighted.

This is fantastic! Thanks a lot.
Ordered wherry, new FV, caps and airlock. 27quid. Bloody good value that!
Was going to buy a new FV this weekend from store for 14 quid. Pretty much a ten more for a kit and few bits.
Chuffed with that one! :D

Hi all
I can confirm the 25% off deal is planned to run into May, :D :D :D :D
I actually work for Wilkos and Steve who used to be on this forum as a conduit for all fellow brewers no longer works on the Homebrew catagory and can no longer devout time to the forum .

However I am happy to step into his role as and when workload permits and although i do not work on this catagory , I am a keen Homebrewer (mainly on beer Kits) and am happy to be a conduit for all fellow brewers on any ideas suggestions you may have on how Wilko's can further develop the current range.

We are looking for feedback on what other lines do you look for that we do not currently stock, both Instore and on line,
do you want to see more kits across the whole brewing range ( wine / beer etc ) , or more bulkier products ( kegs extractors etc etc ) or more depth of specialist ranges ( hops etc etc ) ,

We have another review coming up and your feedback will help the buying team in their range selection driven by what are the most popular lines that you the customer are looking for .
We look forward to your suggestions

thanks

Cheaper spray malts and more range for me.
Champagne and cider yeast would be nice. And more range in kits. The yeast and spraymalts/fermentables are the only things I don't currently buy from wilko.

Oh, and if you make the Lincoln store have the top floor dedicated to homebrewing, I'll buy you a pint.

I popped into my local at lunchtime time to see if anything was on offer, and came out with two tins of Coopers Stout.

Toucan Stout coming up then

@Wherryman

I would also like to see a larger range of Coopers kits.

Cheers

Nah, I'm thinking both tins of stout + 500g of Dextrose to 20L.

Hi Wherryman13,
I have noticed on the link to the site for the voucher discount of "HOMEBREW25" that the offer seems to end tonight. Is this right? or is there another code to use from tomorrow as you said the offer is being extended into May?

As for your suggestions for ideas for Wilkinsons home brew section, I really love to see a couple of Muntons Premium kits and especially the Midas Touch kit as I think it's a superb pint.
A champagne yeast would also make a good addition to your range.
Another suggestion from me would be to offer an S30 cap that fits on your pressure barrel, so it will take a hambleton bard cylinder.

Glad everyone is enjoying the discount in wilkos at the moment :-)

Cheers again,

Rich. :-)

Hi All
thanks for the suggestions so far keep them coming
As regards the HOMEBREW25 discount I will have a word with the web team Friday and get back to you but I do know the discount in store is definitely running into May time.... got to pop into my local too this weekend and get a couple of kits to brew up ready for summer too ( assuming I can be patient to wait that long ).
Really appreciate the feedback so far guys and all duly noted to go forward as suggestions along with any others yet to come

Stay sober ! :-)

Would be nice to be able to get Coopers APA at my local Wilko's
I also think offering a kit + Enhancer / DME bundle with a quid knocked off would encourage the airing cupboard / sugar brewers to try a better kit combo.

You could offer some promotion by having some brewing tip flyers available in stores to offer guidance to better home brew to try and remove some of that 70's home brew stigma.
