Just got ready to bottle some old spec hen and found a crate of ale i made 2 years ago bottled.

Will this be ok or should i bin it?

I've found bottles of beer that are older than that and were ''lost" in the cellar. All have been perfectly fine! I do have a couple of bottles of jubilee ale from 1977, I'm not as confident that they would be ok!

It should be ok, but depends on storage conditions.

It'll be fine if stored in the dark, with a stable, low temperature.

I have had beer that has sat in my garage for a couple of years with very variable temperatures and its fine.

Lol well i tried it on Monday. Bottles of Old Hooky id say. And tasted fine and dandy :)
