Nice to be back :D
I have just recieved my 2 new corded kettles from ebay cost combined cost £8 :D now do I just rip these things apart to get the elements.

yes your right just popped the cover off and there were 3 screws,just one thing the on off switch is on the element dose that mean its going to knock off every time it reaches a boil.

You could probably tape the switch down to stop it popping off.

It would probably be a good idea to leave one of the elements with the switch free. This way, you have both running and once you reach a boil one will auto turn off. while the other maintains the boil. Nice little feature :lol:

I love Bunsen Steve. I did prefer Beaker and I am sure that I saw somebody else with him as their avatar.

Now who was it (unless it was you and you've just swapped)

I chose him as I always liked him when I watched the muppets (Beaker was better though you're right) but Bunsen looks more like me. A bit round and he's a chemist like me. I'm not however yellow, I have more hair and I do have eyes. :)
