Ahtanum
Re: Ahtanum
Usually low alpha, so I tend to use them at the end of the boil or for steeping / dry hopping.
I think they are a really nice hop....quite citrusy and somewhat floral......good aroma and blends well with other hops in IPA's.
Brewdog use it a fair bit.

Hi, thanks, might do an iPa with Apollo for bittering ( as I have some), then chuck the rest in late?

Re: Ahtanum
It's very nice, yeh, goes well with other late additions or even dry hop it, it brings a fruity flavour of many discriptions
IMHO, best to do a few small late additions of hops and some at flame out.

Re: Ahtanum
They are somewhat similar to cascades, so any beer that uses cascades could use ahtanum instead.
I'm just here for the beer.
