Wow. I asked for this in the EFP forum last year. I wonder if this had anything to do with it?

Good for them, always nice to see brewers being helpful to homebrewers =D>

Had to laugh at this though "We could not find any beers we wanted to drink in the UK"

Perhaps they should have looked a bit harder?

WOW - seriously, wow. That is a fascinating resource.

I hope everyone sees this. Almost deserves a sticky in the recipe section, there's so much there.

Wow
From a commercial view I don't really see why they've done it. But I love it

Clown King was pretty amazing and a few of there ipas are pretty awesome

Il Deffo be giving a few of them a bash, just taking a quick flick and its pretty comprehensive bar specific hop timings

It's quite good marketing. It shows they care about homebrewers and makes them come across as homebrewers just on a larger scale. People are talking about it. If people brew them and share them with their friends they might think twice about spending that bit more money on beer in Sainsburys by buying Brewdog.

I remember seeing a McDonald's video where their chef shows you exactly how to make a Big Mac, including the sauce. He ends the video by saying "That's how you make a Big Mac, or you can just buy one from McDonald's for a dollar".

Yeh I was thinking about it and I guess it gets there beer out to homebrewers friends who might not normally try it

Still bold move

Quite a few breweries are happy to give away their recipes, Magic Rock emailed me back with one when I asked, but publishing every single one in a detailed PDF is excellent!

They could have sold this as a book if they'd wanted too. Great move by them to release all that knowledge for free.

This really is great. Could have easily been sold as an ebook. Top stuff!!

Yeah. I like BrewDog, and I like a few of their beers but sometimes the marketing grates a bit. Still a nice move from them - and this sort of marketing I can live with :)
