Re: Leffe bottles
If it's a crown cap but larger than the norm, it's probably 29mm. Rob has them but I'd check with him first to make sure they will fit.far9410 wrote:Hi all Leffe on offer in 750 ml bottles, top is same shape as crown cap,but bigger, can I get one to fit?, or do I need cork

Yes they do, but thinking, for reusing they would be good, would a standard capper fit these?

Re: Leffe bottles
i had to get the 29mm cup for the bench capper to fit them. i don't think standard cappers would fit to be honest as the cup would have to be bigger
dazzled, doused in gin..
Re: Leffe bottles
I always pick up a couple when they're 2 for a £fiver in Tesco. Yep, 29mm crown caps and a bench capper are the order of the day. I keep meaning to get some wax crayons and glue sticks to have a go at waxing the top of the bottles, almost as classy as the cork and cage!
Cheers,

29 mm caps works fine. And for any champane bottle with similar neck shape.
