Glad you enjoyed the brown ale, We both also it turned out decent in the end.
Going to be away for a week but then planning on opening the RIS and the beers from Alix. We have ingredients for a RIS brew in Jan/Feb so we can fill a sankey with it and leave it to mature (I think you have the right idea to brew it at that time of the year and hopefully ours will turn out decent too, I tried one recently that was opened after a year conditioning and unfortunately ended up tasting of marmite).
Will ping you about that beer engine when I get back after Xmas as well if you are still after one?
