Sankey spares

Post by simpleton » Fri Feb 23, 2018 12:25 pm

Morning.

Anyone know where I can buy the NRVs for re beer line? I have a few couplers and a few appear to be missing them :(. Have managed to track down the the little rubber gas side duck bill thingys.

Failing this do corny posts have NRV in them? As I see malt miller sells posts you can screw the E beer like of the Sankey connector and use corny disconnects of which I have a few.

Cheers
Si

I'm not quite sure what you mean, is it the little ball in the beer side of the sankey coupler?

No the threads on the coupler usually with John Guest fittings. MM sells posts with 5/8 threads which fit the Sankey couplers that he sells.

Sorry that question was for simpleton. I may be wrong, but I thought the NRV is just a ball in the coupler, or at least that's the only thing I noticed in the beer part of the coupler.

You can get John Guest fittings that also incorporate a NRV. They have a brass thread on one side and a push fit on the other. I use them, they replace the ball and duck valve and are excellent quality.

Edit: like this (for beer): http://www.johnguest.com/product/inch-s ... t-adaptor/

Just make sure you check if your coupler is 1/2 inch first.

And this one is for gas:

I'm also missing a ball for a coupler I bought a while ago. I've just been doing a little googling, but can't seem to find anyone selling spares at the moment.

Apart from :
https://global.kegworks.com/draft-beer/ ... pler-parts

Which doesn't help, as they're in the US.

There are a few Sankey couplers on eBay for £24 / £25 that come with those JG fittings too.

Afternoon,

Would anyone know of an European supplier for the O-Rings to fit the spear valve of an S (European) type Sankey Keg? It seems that the part is;

Taprite 45-0017-00

I have spent an age with Googgle, but can only find suppliers in the States. Thanks in advance.

MBC :)
