Quick question. Does a beer that is sold in shops have to display the ABV on the bottle.

Reason for asking is a bought a crate of beer last night that had no mention of the abv. I had to google it

If it is sold in the UK then it must show the ABV, it doesn't matter where it was imported from. Did you by it from the back of a van at a car boot sale?
