CO2 in Pembrokeshire

Post by ridgepaddler » Mon Jul 30, 2018 3:42 pm

Hi,

Can anyone suggest a source of CO2 in Pembrokeshire?

I've just taken delivery of 3 Cornelius Kegs, and ordered the quick connects, taps, regulator and pipe work.

I didn't consider the supply of the missing element!

Closest BOC, Air Products branch. Or google pub gas supplies.

Thanks for the advice, but I've already tried that.

BOC are a pain to deal with. I went and talked to their local agent this morning, and the lady there was very helpful. Basically they are a click and collect depot for the BOC on line shop. To use the shop, you need an account. To create an account, you need to have an item in your basket - they have no CO2 stock, so I can't put an item in my basket to create an account. Just a pain in the backside!

Air products is worse. The address of their local agent is a residential street in Milford Haven, or an accountants practice in the same town. I suspect the company acting as an agent, has gone out of business........

I'm just wondering if there's anyone else kegging in my area, and where they buy gas from?

Thanks in advance

Mark

They're both a 200 mile round trip, and don't deliver to my area.

I don't have a local anymore, so don't feel comfortable wandering into a pub I don't use, and asking who ever's behind the bar, where they get their gas from!

I guess I'll just have to wait until the current CO2 crisis is over, and go to BOC.

I have emailed BOC about this, and got a prompt reply. It was a blank email from;

Becky Murphy-Bates
BOC - Customer Service
BOC UK & Ireland
Customer Service Centre, Priestley Road, Worsley, Manchester, M28 2UT

No other content, but it came quickly!

Have a search of Adams gas suppliers, you may have one local that can get one in if they don't stock.

Followed your suggestion.

Adamsgas have an agent about 10 miles away from me. Called the guy and it was simple.

I don't understand why it never came up on my original Google search.
