Diacetyl is considered a flaw in some styles but in English Ales it is often part of the flavour. it is actually in many commercial beers and if these beers now tried to remove it their customers would not like it. Cruzcampo Lager in Spain comes to mind for me as one.

I was expecting the usual unhelpful response from folk having strongly held beliefs in half-baked ideas.

Got this item in Aldi today. It is a Co2 bicycle wheel charger and looking to use it on my keg coupler.

Careful, it isn't a regulator. You can turn it down until there is only a slight whiff coming through, but that slight whiff won't stop coming through until the cylinder is empty. Use to give a manual blast when it needs it.

They are cheap and fairly good looking; better than what I had for me bike - when I could ride it. I might consider one for my mini-kegs when taking a keg on picnic; if I ever get the chance between the rain.
