Re: Red x smash
You are not saying what batch size, but I would say 100..150L in which case you are very short on hops.
Also Red X is a blend of malts so it is not a SMaSH beer by most definitions

He says 180 L. I don't know what red x malt is, but using Graham Wheeler's beer engine and substituting pale malt for red x malt this gives a beer of OG 1.047 and bitterness units of 40.
Seems ok to me.

Re: Red x smash
Didnt see the 180L batch size on the phone (squinting).
My comment on the hops is that there is almost no flavour/aroma hops, and it seems wasteful to use cascade for bittering.
FYI Red X malt is a blend of malts that, when used as 100% of the grist, should land you right at an optimal red colour (which can be hard to achieve, if the number of questions about it is anything to go by).

Re: Red x smash
In this case the OP may be OK with using Cascade as a bittering and an aroma hop, although I see where you're coming from TSOAB.
Hopslist gives the USA version of Cascade as suitable for both purposes.

Hi am thinking of using 200g of Magnum 13aa at 60 min 100g us Cascade 8aa at 20min and 125g Cascade 8aa as at 5 mins not a smash anymore if it even was one brew in a bag method

Try it! You'll get a beer of about 1.047 OG with about 44 IBUs. Looks good on paper, and Magnum are supposedly a good bittering hop. Never used them myself.

37.5kg of malt using BIAB? You're going to need a mega strong bag and a hoist for that.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast, Seaweed, Blood, Sweat, The swim bladder of a sturgeon, My enemies tears, Scenes of mild peril, An otter's handbag and Riboflavin.

One of these and one of these, perhaps!!! Plus, as Jockey says, a ginormous bag.
How are you planning to do it, BP?

Re: Red x smash
An engine hoist would do the trick, given a suitable load bearing point. At its worst this is going to weigh about 80-90 kg when you pull it up. There are people doing BIAB ~ 200Kg grists using just the bags, but perhaps some nylon straps to take the main weight.
They are crazy people, but the mechanical/materials engineering allows for it.
But while I love the purism doing this with just a bag & pulleys, I get worried about the safety issues of doing that now. A ripped bag means 3rd degree burns for everyone beside the mash vessel.

Brew & ferment in same vessel introduces 2 problems that you will need to address:
- removal of kettle trub & kettle hops
- getting a good seal on the fermenter
The last one isn’t normally massively important, but you may struggle to do gravity transfers and could have to resort to pressure transfers
Removal of kettle debris OTOH is tricky without a second vessel, but you might be able to do something with an underback/hopback with an in-line filter
