Co2 Gas refill

Post by Juffer » Wed Feb 12, 2020 10:48 am

Hi folks,
I have just purchased used co2 bottles and regulator but i need them refilling. Is there anybody in the newbury area that can fill them? One is a 2kg and the other a modified 6kg fire extinguisher.

Thanks Geoff

If they don’t have a tamperproof non return valve (modified fire extinguishers won’t) then you can go anywhere providing the company is happy to do so.

Have a google of welding gas, diving gas, fire maintenance places or pub gas suppliers and ask around
Cheers and gone,

Ideally you'd use beverage-grade cylinders filled with beverage-grade CO2 for home brew.

I am not aware of anywhere that would refill a bottle but Andover Patio Centre have beverage grade 6kg bottles. They are about £25 and no deposit or rental.
