The Lazy Brewery is back in action after a lay off. Before I use half a months salary on new ingredients I thought I'd finish off some bits and bobs from the shed.

I decided to covert this cool box into a mash tun while the boil was on


Unfortunately I decided to have a couple of pints of JfDi


So it'll have to wait for my next day off

No probs for a change all in all a good brewday

Multinational Corporation? I wish. That shine on the glass is pure T*sco dishwasher tablets, but the beer tasted grrrreat.

Tabs are back on the menu as I gave up for 4 months after a visit from the Health Bas***** unfortunately they didn't tell me I would put on 4 stone (Shooting is not the most active sport apparently).

Edit:- Upgraded the Boiler months ago, but this being the Lazy Brewery, I haven't got round to making a cfc yet, so I'm just using it as a HLT

I know what you mean about the pipe, I was thinking along the same lines but you can't use rolling tobacco, and I had some Condor rollups when I was a nipper and desperate - put me off pipe tobacco for life

I've got 2 packs to go before I kick it again, but I don't think I can have a cigar in my mouth without inhaling which kind of defeats the point of giving up.

Why thank you P2, my dogs automatically pick up boots after I've kicked them off which normally happens at that stage

I should say my mini mashed Moorsd Ringwood Best made up for it earlier.

btw not sure about Condor but Erinmore is a great smelling tobacco (in a pipe at least)

My Grandad smoked Presbyterian, smelled fantastic Didn't make such great rollups though

I lived in Shirley for about 2 years, I know that tobacconist well, nice to hear he's still going. My favorite of the loose blends were always a light and dark Kentucky mix
