Yep, about 180km's from me is Auckland. I have a store from a chain here in Whangarei. It sells kits, nothing else really. Auckland is the same but has 3 of the chain stores? The nearest HBS to me that does AG stuff is Christchurch. On the South Island :( Probably 1000km's or so. :cry:

I tasted this about 10 days ago and it was a bit 'hoppy' to say the least. I'm supping one tonight and have put another few in the fridge. V good. Bit weird though. Nelson Sauvin sure are an individual tasting/smelling hop.

It'll probably be great in a month's time. It has no chance. :roll:

How much are you paying for a 25kg sack of crushed grain - can you buy it direct or do you have to go through shop?
Also are you bottling or kegging your beer?

Currently i'm buying from a shop on the south island. They are also crushing it. It costs me about NZ$130 delivered-50 bucks is delivery???. I'm sure i can get this cheaper. I just haven't had the time to sort it out. I'm hoping i can get a sack from the brewpub in town. The owner has been away for a few weeks and i haven't been there for a few weeks. :roll:

NZ hops are cheap though. :D

I'm currently bottling all my beer. Only cos i don't have any kegs and keep spending my cents on grain and hops. :roll: :D
