Gas Bottle Refund?

I have found a new gas supplier, Bilston Home Brew, situated in the indoor market. The proprietor was most helpful. He did state that there is a supply problem with HB S30 bottles, namely a stuggle to get them refilled. Anybody know what has happened?

I have deliberately stopped short of naming & shaming, but it is a hardware & homebrew shop in Wolverhampton, and is situated on the Stafford Road. Local users should know where I mean, and you can all draw your own conclusions. I never went looking for conflict, but just to try to solve a problem.Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I may need to switch to sodastream, do larger stores like Wilkinsons still do that, and where can I get an adaptor from?

I doubt my now ex - local HBS wouled have one or would sell to me!

Never! Thats also my LHBS, he seems like a nice chap, would never have thought that.

I have passed the shop this evening, it appears to have closed down. I cannot say if they have relocated, but there is a part of me that is saddened if it has gone to the wall, however poorly I had been treated.

I invested in an adaptor & use both HB & Sodastream now...
