Looks like a nice recipe adm, I borrowed your Galaxian recipe yesterday, the smell coming FV is a strong mango and passion fruit juice style smell, should be interesting..

Excellent stuff! Galaxian turned out to be a cracking beer - I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Galaxy is a lovely hop.

I also did a version of it with Cascade late hopping and that came out well too.

It works well. The downside is the possibility of bits of trub getting stuck inside it, so you need a good cleaning regime. I heat mine in the oven at 200C for an hour before and after use, and also give it a good flush through in both directions after use, plus I give it a good soak filled with iodophor solution.
Yeah...that's much sexier than a copper immersion heater regardless of it's quirks!
Planning - Not for a long while

Fermenting - I'm Done

Bottle Maturing - Hobgoblin, Fullers ESB, American Stout, TOP, Fullers London Porter, Bandini Black IPA

Drinking - Still...Whiskey

Hi Adm

I need to mod my IC hose connectors and the quick disconnects you use are exactly what I need. Can I ask where you got them from?

Cheers

The fittings came from here: http://www.intricoproducts.com/catalogu ... roove.html

The only issue is that postage is expensive unless you live nearby or are buying a few at a time. I think they have a £12 flat postage charge!

They certainly are.... plus an 8mm to 1/2 inch adaptor (from my local plumbing merchant) to get from the copper to the disconnects.
