I wouldn't refer to my Mum as a housewife from times gone by, not to her face anyway :wall I'd get a smack with a wet rubber glove or coat hanger :lol: but she is 82 and when I asked her what was the strongest solution of bleach she would use fo heavy grime she said 1 cup in 1/2 a bucket, that's about 8 fl oz in 160 fl oz.... 5%

Pubs clean their lines once every 1 or 2 weeks.
Whenever I clean a keg (with bleack soln) I just take the opportunity to blow a bit through the taps & clean the lines... flushing with water after of course.
