Excellent work. An Oz of target and an Oz of goldings isn't over the top. It'll be fine. :D

Great pics Splitter. What's the pipe coming up out of your mash tun? - Is that a syphon drain instead of fitting a tap at the bottom?

Morning!

I'm afraid it is EB. i think a tap would have been neater but the syphon seems to work well and has a tap inline to adjust the flow. i do have a long, clean hose to suck on so i dont get burnt! Most of the gear borrowed from my uncle who diy'ed most of it.

Good old B&Q, taking over the world.

I put in 20g of each in the end steveD, thought i'd keep it down first time round and it is fairly low gravity. Nice to know i'd get away with it next time tho.

Barreled this one today at 1.012 fg.
Dry hopped with 14g Goldings in a hop bag with a table tennis ball.
Just had a sneaky taster (my first sup of ag!) and it was v. nice
lots of hop flavour and aroma, alittle more sweat than bitter at the mo (i tasted after adding priming sugars).
Abit like a well hopped wherry or adnams. v. promising. It'll be interesting to see how it developes over the next month.
Thanks again to all those on the forum who's help and advice have made my first ag attempt a success. :D
