Collected 30L, 25L in boiler will use the remaining for topping up during the boil

Got 25L at 1049 I think thats an 80% brewhouse efficiency :shock: could someone confirm that for me (5.1kg pale malt (MO))

This is the most active fermentation i've ever had large krausen and the airlock is going about every 1 second, if it were any faster there would just be a hiss coming from it! I've check the temp and it's a little high (just over 24 C) is that too warm? And if it is what will happen 8-[

18 - 20 deg c is ideal, so cool it down.

Towels wetted with water draped over the fv...a cooler location...anything

an understairs cupboard...mine is mantaining 18 deg c at the mo.....without help :wink:
